December character focus is “Caring”. Showing a genuine concern for the welfare of others and being a kind, supportive helper.

Thank you to the many organizations for contributing warm winter clothing to our students. This week we were able to provide winter boots, coats, snow pants, hats and gloves to several students. Thank you Genevieve Hurd and Heidi Jahnsen for all the boots from your “Fit the Feet” program. Thank you Soul Patrol for the snow pants, gloves and gifts you have provided. Thank you Fertile Valley Grange for winter coats and serval community members who have donated warm knit hats for our students.

The PTO Penny Drive is off to a great start. The classroom jars are filling up!  All funds raised will be donated to the Newport Hospital Foundation Healthy Snack Bag Program.  The class that raises the most money will get a field trip to Newport Hospital.

The Holiday Program is coming up on Wed., Dec. 14th at 6 p.m.

Progress Reports will be available 12/9/16.

It is getting colder. Please dress appropriately for outside recess.  If you need help with providing winter attire, please contact the office.

Keep reading! Our school wide goal is for every student to read 15-20 minutes daily. Remember to return your reading challenge forms each week.

Idaho Hill school wide rules:  Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Respectful, Be Responsible.
